SKIN Chapter 1: How It StartsA strange fog fell over the Royal Kingdom; one of the four kingdoms of the vampire world, this kingdom ruled over two of the four kingdoms. As the fog thickened a figure appeared; the figure had a strong scent of blood following it. The figure was a woman with long black hair, and she was wearing a blood red cloak, which meant she was of one of the rival kingdom, the Blood Kingdom. As she walked through the streets a red pendant that was hanging from her neck began to glow, this told her people were near. The people of the kingdom began to sense her presence. So they all hid. I hear the door bell ring; I look out my window and see Blake standing outside. I was the only one home at the time, so I run down stairs; locking all the doors and windows. I hear the door bell ring once more; I went up stairs and see if he is still there, when I saw he was gone I sigh in relief. I walk down stair - after that little incident I got really hungry – towards the kitchen, to find Blake staring at me.
